There’s only four days left until the next possible government shutdown. Will the Democrats give Trump his funding for the border wall? Will they compromise? Or will we be going through shutdown 2.0?
During Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said that all options are on the table and that a government shutdown “can’t be ruled out.”
So there are options. Maybe there is some money for Trump, but not the full $5.7 billion. Does he sign a bill that doesn’t have full funding? What if the Democrats send him no money for the border wall?
Also, two more candidates jumped into the race for the Democrat nominee for president of the United States: Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar. Wow, what a lineup. One has faked her heritage in order to get ahead, and the other is known as the “Mommie Dearest” of Washington. Both should be easy targets for President Trump. What do you think?
Also, today’s show talks about some of the fallout from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal. Her team has been trying to do damage control regarding some of the more ridiculous items that appeared in her resolution and background materials. She is now blaming the GOP for doctoring her documents. Oh brother!
